Both defenses were solid, but Warren was superior against New Trier Girls Silver 1 - 0 at Centennial Ice Rinks-Wilmette on Monday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Warren took the lead in the second period with one goal. New Trier Girls Silver's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Warren held on to its lead, and was the winner.
