Leaving their opponents in the dust, Lake Forest High School triumphed over New Trier Girls Silver 9 - 1 at Alumni Memorial Arena-Lake Forest College on Thursday. Lake Forest High School racked up two unanswered goals to take the lead in the first period. Lake Forest High School added four straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. In the last period, Lake Forest High School outscored New Trier Girls Silver three to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Lake Forest High School now has a record of 2-0. New Trier Girls Silver finished the game with a record of 12 wins and 18 losses.
