In a tight contest, New Trier Girls Varsity got the better of Lake Forest High School 5 - 3 at Alumni Memorial Arena-Lake Forest College on Monday. New Trier Girls Varsity scored three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Both teams racked up two goals in the second period but New Trier Girls Varsity maintained their lead for the win. Lake Forest High School added one goal in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

This was the first game for Lake Forest High School.
