New Trier Girls Varsity overcame Fenwick 5 - 1 at Edge Ice Arena/John-Bensenville on Thursday. New Trier Girls Varsity chalked up one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. New Trier Girls Varsity added three unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but New Trier Girls Varsity kept the lead for the win.

This was the first game for Fenwick.
